Negro League Baseball Discussion Forum: Negro League Teams – Information Exchange: Clyde Parris
I'am loking for information on Clyde Parris who played for the New York black Yankees & the Baltimore Elite Giants in the late 1940's. Any information would be appreciated.
Thank You,

Hi Terence…..This is only a long shot and only a tiny piece of info. An acquaintance of mine has a picture of a negro team with the words Wilcox and Draper on it–as if they were sponsored by a company of that name. The team members are Smith, Thompson, Hall, Keene, Burley or Busby, A. Lewis, D. Lewis, Tolbert, Anderson and Parris. It's such an unusual name and spelling that I have to think it's the same person. There is no info on the back of the picture….no date, no locale. I have been hunting for info about Wilcox and Draper in hopes of determining what area of the country they may have played in. Former pix owner came from Minn.
