The Welcome All Park Athletic Association in conjunction with The Fulton County Commission (we are located just outside Atlanta) will be naming one of its baseball fields in Honor of Sam Jethro on Saturday May 22, 1999.
Please share your information about Sam if you have any.
Several of the local Negro League Players will also be in attendance.

HELLO I DONT KNOW IF YOU LOCATED OR HERE ANY INFO ON SAM JETHROE BUT IF YOUR STILL LOOKING HE WILL BE AT THE 3RD NEGRO LEAGUE REUNION IN NEW JERSEY IN FEBRUARY FOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH THEY WILL BE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS AT THIS SHOW SO HE WILL BE ATTENDING .AND ABOUT 30 OTHER FORMALL PLAYERS .
