On July 4, 1919, a game was played in Everett, Massachusetts between the Everett City Team and the Cuban Giants. It was part of a celebration that welcomed home the troops from WWI. I have found a small report of the game and a book that lists the game as a main attraction of the celebration weekend. The price of admission to the event was an astronomical (for the time) fifty cents. I would like to know something about the team members. I only have a box score so the first names are unknown.
We would like to commemerate this historic event in some way at the spot the game was played.
