I'm looking for information on my grandfather who
played for the West Coast League in Los Angeles.
His name was Earl Thomas, but he was also known as
Scow Thomas. I'm putting together a children's
book on his life and would like to find out what
team he played on as well as the years he played.
Unfortunately, my family cannot remember.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I Know the West Coast league was formed right before intergration. It only lasted for a season I believe, and that was not completed. I know there was a seattle SteelHeads Team, And so little information is available. A great Source of information is Local libraries in the town he played in and looking for boxscores. Also there is the negro league baseball encylopedia.
