If anyone has any information on Lou Dials I would be grateful. I met him in San Diego in 1994 and enjoyed talking to him. He was the first person to educate me on the Negro League. Is Lou still alive? Any stats? Thanks, Kim San Diego

He actually passed a couple years ago. Good luck trying to find stats; that's the curse of NL fans everywhere. But the NL encyclopedia by James Riley would give you an overview of his (and everybody's) career.
