Does anyone have any information about Gentry Jessup? He played in five All-Star games in the 1940's for the Chicago American Giants. Thanks for your help!

In 1940 he was a member of the Birmingham Black Barons. Jessup was an outstanding pitcher for the Chicago American Giants. He played in Cuba only one season (1946-47) finishing with a 5-3 record in sixteen appearances.
In 1948 he was a member of Satchel Paige's All-Stars when they played a series of games against Bob Feller's All-Stars.

Jessup finished up his career in Canada playing in the Mandak League in 1950-51-52 with the Carman Cardinals.
