i am searching for some info. on a former pitcher
by the name of Charles Middlebrooks. He was a hard left handed throwing pitcher with a pretty good curve ball. He played with the Clowns. He is from Marietta, Ga. He had a nickname, "the shagg". It is rumored that he may have been one of the best pitchers of all time. Will someone please inform me about him, his outstanding stats, and the story behind his career. Thank YOU

I am searching for info on my father Raphael Concepcion, nickname Fellito who played in the summer negreo leagues alongside Josh Gibson sometime between 1935-38. His brother Monchile Concepcion also played. He was from Puerto Rico and lived in New York. I am trying to start a scrapbook from my grandsons so they can know him. Some years ago a nephew of mine found a negreo league book in the library with a photo of my father and his team mates. Please help. If you can't help me, maybe you can point me un the right direction.
