my son is biracial and plays baseball, he is 10 and a great pitcher. I myself am white and I want him to know more about the Negro League. Are there any Negro League players still living that have an e-mail or address that we can contact them through? Thank you so much, Mary Gribble

They are still some former Negro League Baseball players living, but fewer every year. I don't know of any who have made their addresses available for general contacts.
However, there are a large number of web sites devoted to the history of the negro leagues. Just enter Negro League into a search field. Also, you can find all sorts of books on the subject. If you prefer not to buy the books, try your local library. Brent Kelly has two wonderful books containing interviews with players. Jim Riley's Biographical Encyclopedia of the Negro Leagues is a great reference.
I'm not sure where you live, but the Negro League Museum is in Kansas City. I haven't been there yet, but have heard good things about it.
