PRESENTS

A Staged Reading of “THUNDER AND LIGHTNING” by Taylor Hallman and Ivan Comer.

The play is set in a fictionalized Negro Baseball League team, The Jersey Storm, on the day that Jackie Robinson first played in Dodger Stadium, April 15, 1947. On this historic day two players compete for the chance to go Major Leagues. One a rookie nicknamed "Lightning"; the other a seasoned player called "Thunder". Only one player from the team is to be signed by the scout.
