Forums Rules And Terms Of Use
The new forum software allows us to implement a few security features designed to make the use of the forum a more pleasant (and safe) experience for all users. Your cooperation, however, will be the most important factor in making this forum a lively and pleasant online meeting place.
Messages containing the following types of material are strictly prohibited:
- Profanity, obscenity or common vulgarity.
- Abusive or racially offensive speech.
- Copyrighted material used without the permission of the copyright holder.
- Libelous or slanderous speech.
- Commercial posts made by any party other than the sponsors of the NEGROLEAGUEBASEBALL.COM web site.
This is a moderated forum system. All messages posted to the system will be reviewed before they are made available for public viewing.
Since the new forum system allows graphic files (GIF and JPG images) to be attached to messages, it is essential for the protection of our users (many of whom are young students) that we take reasonable steps to prevent obscene material from being posted to the system. For this reason all messages posted to the forum will be reviewed prior to becoming publicly accessible.
We do not intend to act as censors, except to protect the system, as best we can, from abuse. Normally, newly posted messages will be available for public reading within a few minutes. However, there may be times when releasing new messages will take a bit longer. We apologize for the occasional delay that will, inevitably, occur.
WE WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OFFENSIVE, OBSCENE, LIBELOUS, OR INFRINGING MATERIAL INCLUDED IN OR ATTACHED TO FORUM MESSAGES.
While we will make reasonable efforts to prevent such material from appearing on the forum, and will endeavor to remove as quickly as possible any such material that should appear in the forum, we cannot guarantee that such material will not from time to time appear.
By your use of this system you agree to abide by the rules stated above and, further, you release the forum owners, operators, moderators and administrators from any liability which might occur as a result of any material posted to the system by anyone other than the forum owners, employees, administrators or moderators.

Just a reminder that the posting of messages with profanity or racially derogatory language will result in termination of the user's account and notification to the user's ISP.
