SABR Negro League Conference Set For August 4-5

HARRISBUG, PA.- The 3rd annual SABR Negro League Committee Research Conference will be held August 4-5, 2000 at the Harrisburg Hilton & Towers.
The conference will bring together a dozen or so former players and fifty researchers. It will feature twelve research presentations, three player panels, trivia, a banquet (08/04), a Harrisburg Senator game (08/05), a fantasy tournament, a primer on the Negro Leagues, entertainment, art, music, a site tour and more.
The $89 registration fee ($70 SABR members) includes the conference ($50), banquet ($33) and Harrisburg Senators game ($6).
