Entitled, There Was Always Sun Shining Someplace: Life In The Negro Baseball Leagues, the film features rare footage of Negro League games (including the East-West All-Star Classic) and interviews with Negro League greats such as Satchel Paige, Cool Papa Bell, Judy Johnson, Buck Leonard, Jimmie Crutchfield, Ted Page and others.
